Props at your Photo Shoot.
Have you considered what prop you would want to bring to your photoshoot? Have you ever even thought about bringing a prop, as a photographer I think it can really personalize your photos to have something of your own to bring along. I have some suggestions for you but a list could be endless.
Balloons are a great way to add colour to any photoshoot, it always makes me think that something is being celebrated, Blocks can be an excellent addition to any shoot but if you use them for a child’s photograph they can capture the child’s creativity, Books are great as well, the child or even adult is concentrating so much on the story that they can forget they are being photographed. Bubbles are interesting and fun, tricycles are good and flowers are always a good idea.

Have you ever thought about bringing along food? Maybe cupcakes or lollipops we have even known some of our clients bring along a glass or two and toasting with wine, homemade signs can tell people what you are celebrating, hats add personality along with any accessories. Keepsakes have that special element that adds intimacy to your photographs, Dolls and Toys are always welcome in a child’s photoshoot, or play a sport, it is great to create a photoshoot around your interests.
Baby props can be adorable and fun, each shoot is a new experience and is tailored to the baby’s and parent’s personality, the simplest way to do this is by bringing along your own props which mean something to you.

I find wooden letter are inexpensive and a great way to personalize a photo session. Use the letters to show the baby’s name, stuffed animals are perfect for baby portraits, not all parents like to dress up their babies, but if you are one that does this is an ideal opportunity. Baby girls always look good in headbands and as for the little boy try the bow tie or braces. You can try baskets, boxes and even buckets, an old hat box a small suitcase, I could go on and on.
So just a few ideas for you to think about before you book your session with us.
